The mission of the Blind Brook High School is to prepare our students to be active, lifelong learners who have the skills and confidence necessary to achieve their highest potential, from academics to extracurriculars, in line with the essential skills and dispositions in our Vision of the Graduate and Vision of Deep Learning.

Senior Options, a program at BBHS that has been in place for years offering graduating students a taste of working in a field of interest. Recently seniors shared what they had done during a special presentation at the high school.
Congratulations to BBHS seniors Abigail Goldstein and Charlotte Zelin, honored at the 2025 Carroll F. Johnson Scholastic Achievement Dinner. Charlotte was unable to attend, however Abigail was joined by Supt. Colin Byrne, Principal Mark Greenwald and Trustee Katherine Hallissy Ayala.
Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Dr. Michael Curtin, recently hosted a virtual town hall event to share information on each grade level with the school community and to answer any questions.
The Blind Brook High School Fab Lab has projects spread out on tables and tucked in bins just waiting to be put on display with more to come. These projects, and so many more, will be part of Creaticon 2025, an annual celebration of student ingenuity.

There will be a reception for BBHS Girls’ Volleyball State Champions on Tuesday, December 10th at 7:15 p.m. in the Monroe E. Haas I.M.C (Library) at Blind Brook Middle/High School, 840 King Street, Rye Brook, NY 10573 followed by recognition ceremony at the public Board of Education meeting. Also on the agenda: BBMS Foreign Language Students and a board presentation on Assessments.

In a first, students from Blind Brook Middle/High School visited the Anthony J. Posillipo Community Center in Port Chester on March 31, where they made some new friends. Together they spent an early afternoon getting to know one another and enjoying some games.
